Course Description: This 1 hour course covers the requirements and steps Building Inspectors perform during slab inspections, mono slab inspections and post tension inspections as required in the Florida Building Code and the approved set of plans.  
 
Course Outline:

1. Slab Inspections:
2. Requirements include approved plans on site, verify passed rough-in inspections for plumbing and electrical, termite treatment, compaction report of soils, proper reinforcement (size, grade, location, splicing, corner bars and support of reinforcement, concrete coverage), and vapor retarder
3. Mono Slab Inspections:
4. Requirements include the requirements for slab inspections and interior and exterior footing pads and penetrations through footings
5. Post Tension Inspections:
6. Requirements include proper cable placement, attachment of ends, cable sheathing, and support of cables
