Orange County Impact Fee Vote

School Impact Fee – On April 7^th, the Orange County School Impact Fee Advisory Group recommended moving forward with a study by Tindale Oliver supporting an increase in the school impact fee with a deferment of payment until January 1, 2017. OCPS met on April 12^th and vote to recommend the study to the Board of County Commissioners without the deferment. This would mean a possible effective date in August 2016. A public hearing of the Board of County Commissioner to vote on the increase of fees and the payment schedule is on May 10^th at 2:00pm. Please attend in support of the building industry. The suggested residential increases are as follows:
