FREE Project Superintendent Course Program

Objective: Working collaboratively with building officials, inspectors, and top industry professionals to promote best practices and create professional relationships between the public and private sectors through education.

Expectation: Completion of all 8 courses to receive GOBA's Certificate of Completion supported by Orange County and Seminole County.

Course 1 - General Site and SWPPP

Course 4 - Framing and Trusses

Training Team: Chris Sukut, Orange County Deputy Chief Building Inspector and Bob Amato, Orange County Deputy Chief,  Wes Robins, Chief Marketing Officer and Mike Loader, Regional Product Specialist from Quick Tie Products, Inc. and Meritage Homes.
 
Course 5 - Estar Rating, Testing and Insulation
Date: Thursday, July 12, 2018 10:00 am - Noon
Training team:  Chris Sukut, Orange County Deputy Chief Building Inspector and Bob Amato, Orange County Deputy Chief and Tim Smith, Chief Operations Officer for 15 Lightyears.
 
Course 6 - House wrap, Roof dry-in, Final Roof

Course 7 - Lath and Stucco
Date: Wednesday, August 22, 2018  8:00am - 4:00 pm
Location: Seminole County Chambers, 1101 East First Street, Sanford, FL 32771
Training Team: Seminole County, In-Spex, Florida Lath & Plaster Bureau, and Beazer Homes
 
Course 8 - Final Building Inspection Review

GOBA's Superintendent Training Program will be offering a class on best practices for lath and stucco led by representatives from both the private and public sectors! Please plan on joining us for this FREE special training program on Wednesday, August 22nd!  There are still opportunities to join a training team! Please reach out to Jenelle Schmidli if you are interested in being a part of the Project Superintendent Training Team. 

Did you miss a course or two? It's okay! We will be offering all of the Project Superintendent Training Program's courses again. Feel free to attend even if you miss a course! You can make it up during the next training session to earn your GOBA Certification of Completion.
